Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the Space3PL Connect application (the “App”) in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal information the App collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account, only as needed to provide our fulfillment and logistics services:
- Orders & fulfillment data — order details and fulfillment status, including up to roughly 60 days of order history, so we can pick, pack, ship, and track each order.
- Inventory & products — product, variant, and collection details and inventory levels, which the App reads and updates to keep stock in sync across your warehouses.
- Store & staff details — store owner and staff contact information and store locations, used to configure and operate your account.
- Shopify Functions — cart transform data, where enabled, to apply your fulfillment rules.
- Customer information contained in orders — your customers’ name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, geolocation, IP address, and browser/operating-system details, used solely to fulfill and deliver their orders.
We collect this information directly through your Shopify account via Shopify’s APIs. We also collect standard technical information — such as log files and cookies — from individuals who access the App, to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
How we use your personal information
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Specifically, we use it to:
- Receive, process, pick, pack, ship, and track orders, and synchronize inventory, products, and order status between Shopify and Space3PL.
- Provide last-mile delivery, returns, customs clearance, and freight where applicable.
- Communicate with you, provide support, and send service-related notices.
- Secure, troubleshoot, optimize, and improve the App and our Service.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.
Sharing your personal information
We share Personal Information only with third parties that help us deliver the Service, and only to the extent necessary:
- Shopify — which hosts your store and provides the data we process on your behalf.
- Logistics partners & carriers — couriers and freight, customs, and last-mile providers that need delivery details to complete shipments you have requested.
- Service providers — infrastructure, hosting, and operational tools that support the App under confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or your customers’ personal information. We may disclose Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect our rights.
Behavioural advertising
The App does not use personal information collected from you or your customers for behavioural advertising or for any advertising purposes.
Your rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@space3pl.com.
Much of the personal information we process is processed on the merchant’s behalf (Space3PL acts as a processor / service provider, and the merchant is the controller). If you are a shopper and wish to exercise your rights regarding an order, please contact the store you purchased from; we will support that merchant in responding. Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including Kuwait, with appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and to maintain your account. When the App is uninstalled or your account is closed, we delete or anonymize the associated personal information within a reasonable period (typically within 90 days), unless we are required to retain it to comply with a legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligation, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
In line with Shopify’s requirements, we honor Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks — customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact — to return or erase personal data on request.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page.
